以弗所书第三章
To be “filled
to the measure of all the fullness of God” is like filling a thimble(针)
to its brim with water from the ocean. The thimble is filled with the ocean,
but the ocean is not fully in the thimble since the thimbleful of water does
not diminish the ocean. Yet, the thimble has the “fullness”
of the ocean in the sense that it contains every ingredient that makes up the
ocean. All the essential characteristics of the ocean are in the thimble.
【弗三20】「充充足足的成就一切超过我们所求所想的。」
让我们看保罗所用的字句──「充充足足」、「一切」、「超过」。啊！每一个字里面包含着神无限的爱和能力！按照神在我们身上发生作用的能力，它是没有限量的。我们若让神发生多少作用，神就能发生多少作用。那援助我们，那以祂自己的血，洗涤我们的一切罪过，用圣灵来充实我们的力量，使我们渡过种种的诱惑，帮助我们应付一切危难，一切事变，一切环境与一切逆境。─《宣道会报》
