傳福音的條件

 

【传福音必须厚脸皮】大约在一百年前有一个传道人,他的中文名字叫郭显德,当他从美国到中国北方来传福音的时候,就是面皮很厚、没有感觉。他从一个村庄里经过,后面跟着一群人,特别是孩子们,一面把土扬在他身上,一面骂他,他却没知没觉,也不慌不忙,一直往前走。等走得差不多了,就回头来,对那些人说,够了,够了;还是笑嘻嘻的。他这样没知没觉,结果就把福音传出去了。

 

【你求的是什么】由印度返回英国的海途中,一个猎人与一个传道人在船上相遇。猎人说:「我在印度25年,未曾看见一个人信耶稣。」传道人说:「那真奇怪,你曾看见老虎没有?」猎人说:「我见过几百只老虎,并且打死十余只!」传道人说:「我在印度亦已多年,未曾见过一只老虎,却是见几百个印度人因着福音的大能,悔改得救。」

  何以一人只见老虎,一人只见灵魂呢?因为前者只求老虎,所以只见老虎;后者只求灵魂,所以只见灵魂。经上说到主耶稣:「祂看见许多的人,就怜悯他们;因为他们困苦流离,如同羊没有牧人一般。」(马太福音九章36节)

  请问,你看见了什么?主耶稣对们徒说:「要收的庄稼多,作工的人少;所以你们当求庄稼的主,打发工人出去,收祂的庄稼。」(马太九章3738节)请问你求的是什么?

 

【宁学撒玛利亚妇人】戴德生牧师有一次说到某些教会的领袖争取最高权威的事。他说:「这些领袖以使徒的继承人姿态出现,显得十分骄荣。但我宁愿当一个撒玛利亚妇人的继承者,因为她为了别人灵魂的得救,而忘却了自己的水壶。」戴牧师的这句话真是一针见血,可说观察入微。时常教会里有些人为了争夺权力、地位,致使他们忽略了对将亡的世界作见证的重要任务。那位撒玛利亚妇人并不是一个神学家,不过她和主耶稣的际遇,使她情不自禁地要向世界宣布。由于她热心的推荐,使得许多人也与她一同信了耶稣。─《清晨露滴》

 

【只要热诚总可救人】美国波斯顿公理会,有一个教会的执事,是个商人。他没有口才,又不会讲道,但他心里火热要为主作工。他想:我虽不会讲道为主作见证,但可以尽我的本分引人归主。他决定在他家中多安两个座位,每逢礼拜天,便邀请两位青年来共餐。他这样不间断的做了三十多年,因此结识了许多青年人,因他的热诚而悔改信主了。他离世归天时,许多人来参加葬礼,内中有一百五十多人,是礼拜天在他家中吃过饭,受他的感动,悔改信了主的。

        任何信徒,不论智能如何,总可设法为主作工。

 

【忍不住流泪】有一个热心的基督徒,学问口才都不够,偏遇见一位学问渊博又加善辩的不信者。这位基督徒很爱他,常常为他恳切祷告,却不敢向他谈道,更不敢和他辩论。在祷告中心常不安,常常豫备了一套话,但一定到那学者的门口,又不敢叩门。有一天,祷告后就出去,大胆的叩门。那学者出来关门。那基督徒心慌了,不知如何是好,就痛哭起来说:『我要你悔改信耶稣;我知道我不会讲,也辩不过你,因此我忍不住的流眼泪,请莫见怪!」那不信神的学者大受感动,心想这人如此爱我,必有道理,他所信的耶稣必有能力。因此,他就放弃成见,虚心研究圣经,终于悔改信了主。

 

【被拒绝二十次】司布真说:『我记得有位牧师,去看望一个将死的工人。他不但不欢迎,反而怀恨的说:「告诉他快去。我不愿意看见这类的人来搅扰我。」牧师又来,他仍然严词无礼拒绝。牧师如此来之不一次。到了末一次,这个病人说道:「好罢,既然如此的恳切,就访他进来罢。」当日就救了那人归主。」

 

【鼓吹别人自己不动】有一传道先生,一次在一聚会中,鼓吹人们前往边荒传扬福音,最后就请愿意的人举手表示。不料,他的儿子忽在后边舉起手来。传道先生看见是他儿子,脸色立刻变了。我们多少时候大叫别人舍弃,自己却舍不得。

 

【愿死六次】有一基督徒名叫卜来本,他去看望一个将死的小姑娘马利,就问她说:「你要什幺?」小姑娘回答说:『在我未死以前,我要见你的面。』他希奇的问:「为什幺你要死呢?」『是的!」』「你不愿意好幺?」『我不盼望好。』「为什幺不愿意活着呢?」她说:『因为自从我作了基督徒,我就尽力的劝我父亲去听道,但他总是不愿意去。我想,若我死了,你一定要来送葬,我父亲也一定会去,那时你便可以对他宣扬福音。我愿意死六次,好叫我父亲能听一次福音。』不幸,这位小姑娘死的时候,卜来本因为自己生病,未去送葬。但是过些时日,有一个人去找卜来本,向前伸出两手,对他说道:『你不认识我罢!我就是马利的父亲,她为我死了。那次我听见她对你说,她愿意死六次,好叫我听一次福音。当时听了这话,就使我心碎,现在我要来听福音,相信她所相信的耶稣!』「凡我所行的,都是为福音的缘故,为要与人同得这福音的好处(哥林多前书九章二十三节)。

 

【胆小不敢开口作见证】有一个故事,大意是这样:有两个人,是同事。一个信主了,一个没有信主。信主的那一个胆子非常小,没有信主的那一个胆子也非常小。信主的那一个因胆子小,不敢向那一个同事说,我已经得救了。还没有信主的那一个人,看见他这个同事大有改变,从前脾气很急的,现在变作不急了,因此心里觉得很希奇,但是不敢问他是甚么原因。他们两个共用一张桌子,天天面对面的坐着。但是,一个怕得很,不敢说;一个怕得很,不敢问。每天总是你看我、我看你。一个不敢问,一个不敢告诉。到了有一天,信主的那一个实在受不住了,他就好好的祷告过,然后到那一个人面前去,手握得紧紧的对他说:『我这一胆子小得很,至少有三个月的工夫不敢告诉你,我现在告诉你,我已经相信了耶稣。』他说了这话,面孔都发青了。那一个人说:『我也有三个月的工夫,要问你为甚么和从前不一样,却不敢问。』他壮起胆开了口,从此就有机会带他的朋友来认识主了。

 

【面面对坐不敢告诉】有两个外国人,是同事。一个得救了,一个没有得救。得救的那一个胆子非常小;没有得救的那一个胆子也非常小。得救的那一个胆子非常小,不敢告诉那一个人说我已经得救了;还没有得救的那一个人,看见那一个同事,有的时候很高兴,从前脾气很急的,现在不急了,看他有改变。他们两个,是共用一张桌子,天天面对面的坐着。但是,他也怕得很,不敢问。每天总是你看看我,我看看你,一个不敢问,一个不敢告诉。到了有一天,相信的那一个实在受不了,他就好好的祷告过,然后到那一个人面前去,手握得紧紧的,对他说:『我这一个人胆子小得很,至少有三个月的工夫,不敢告诉你,我现在告诉你,我已经相信了耶稣。』他说了这话,面孔都发青了。那一个人说:『我也有三个月的工夫,要问你却不敢问。』怕人的人,陷入网罗,总要有胆量告诉亲戚朋友,在私人面前,在公众面前,承认主是谁。

 

【冒死传福音】从前在外国有一个信徒叫作托德,是很会带领人得救的。他得救的时候是十六岁。在一个放假的日子,他到一个乡村里去,在那里遇见教会中的一对老夫妻招待他。那一对老夫妻很会作工,就把他引到主的面前去。这个青年人本来糊里糊涂,那一天他跪下来祷告,得救了。后来,他就和那一对老夫妻有一点谈话。他们谈起,那地方总要等到有一位先生悔改了,纔有办法传福音。托德听见这话,就问:「先生是谁?」他们告诉他,先生是一个退伍的军人,已经六十多岁了。他豫备了一支手枪在家里。谁对他开口传福音,他就要打谁。他给基督徒起一个名字,叫作「假冒为善的人」。他看全世界的基督徒都是「假冒为善的人」。只要是基督徒,他就要打。所以没有一个基督徒敢向他传福音,也没有一个基督徒敢从他住的那条路上走过。因为一从他的路上走过,如果给他知道了,他就要骂,咒诅的骂,凶恶的骂。托德听了就说:「主阿!今天蒙你的恩典,你救了我,我要去向狄先生作见证。」茶没有喝完,就说:「我要去。」他得救还没有两个钟点,就要去向狄先生作见证。那一对老夫妻劝他说:「我们许多人劝过他都不行,你不要去。有人给他用棍子打出来,有人看见他要开枪,就赶快跑出来。我们又不能因着传福音被打而控告他,所以他越打越厉害。」托德说:「不!我觉得我应该去。」他就去。

        到了狄家门口,一叩门,狄先生就出来开门。他手里拿着棍子,问说:「年轻人,你要作甚么?」托德说:「好不好让我说几句话?」两个人就一同走进屋子里去。一到屋子里,托德就说:「我盼望你能接受主耶稣作你的救主。」狄先生就把棍子扬起来说:「恐怕你是新来到这里的,所以我原谅你,不打你。难道你没有听见么?在这地方是谁都不许题耶稣的名字的。走!快快走!」托德就再说:「我劝你应该相信耶稣。」狄先生发怒了,奔到楼上,把手枪拿下来,很凶的对他说:「走!不然,我就开枪。」他说:「我是要劝你信耶稣,你要开枪,只好让你开。不过,当你还没有开枪之前,让我祷告。」他就立刻当着狄先生的面跪下来祷告说:「神阿!在这里有一个人不认识你,求你救他。」第二次再说:「神阿!在这里有一个人不认识你,求你怜悯他,怜悯狄先生。」托德一直一直的祷告,跪在那里不起来。一直说:「神阿!求你怜悯狄先生!求你怜悯狄先生!」当他祷告到五、六遍的时候,他就听见在他旁边有一个声音,好象是叹一口气。等一等,又听见手枪放下来。再等一等,狄先生也跪下来了,在他旁边祷告说:「神阿!求你怜悯我。」几分钟之后,那一个人相信了主。他就拉着这个青年的手说:「我以前只是听见福音,今天我是第一次看见福音。」后来这个青年告诉人说:「当时我看见他的脸,真是犯罪的脸,每一条横纹都是罪,每一条横纹都是凶恶。但是,后来光也从每一条横纹里照出来,每一条横纹好象都是在说神怜悯了他。」下一个主日,狄先生就到礼拜堂去聚会。他后来也带领几十个人得救。

 

【传福音者须审问自己】福音传不出去,传的没有能力,皆因圣灵没有同工。圣灵工作最大的拦阻就是罪。『审判光从神的家起首。』所以传福音者必须先学大卫祷告说:『神阿!求你鉴察我;看我里面有什幺恶行。』然后再照下列二十三个问题审问自己。主必向你说话,内心必定感觉对神,对人,对教会多有亏欠,为人有各种不义不圣。如此就请在神前一一认清,在人前一一对付,福音工作就必大有神的同在。

 (1)我们彼此饶恕赦免吗?我们心里还是怀恨,抱怨,仇忌,不愿与人和好吗?

2)我们还有怒气吗?我们心里有否动怒?外面有否发脾气?内心有没有不平以致常 有恶 声恶语爆发出来吗?

3)我们有没有妒忌呢?看兄别人被人称赞,被人记念未提到自己,里面是否觉得不舒服呢?看见别人讲道,祈祷,作事比我们好,我们妒忌吗?

4)我们暴躁不忍耐吗,我们是否遇见小小事情即觉痛苦烦恼心情急躁,言语暴躁,举动粗野呢?还是无论在任何环境中皆是安静,和平,忍耐呢?

5)我们是否轻易怪人?别人若不注意我们,不与我们说话,或是没有看望我们,我们心里是否因此受伤呢?

6)我们心里有骄傲吗?我们是否以成功,地位,属灵的长进,暗暗的自呜得意呢?明明作错事情,坚不承认,反而诡辩图赖呢?

7)我们是否诚实?经手的事是否一码便一码,一磅便一磅,没有可指责的呢?我们的言语是否一就是一,二就是二,是否常常放大,给以假的印象呢?

8)我们有否传播是非呢?我们是否来往传话,好象停不住脚的人呢?并妄论人的是非,暗伤人的名誉呢?

9)我们批评人吗?我们有否恶意的,吹毛求疵的,存心破坏的,批评议论别人,寻找人的缺点呢?

10)我们抢夺主的东西吗?曾否偷窃属于主的时间与财物呢?我们金钱财物当献给主的,有没有还未献上呢?

11)我们犯疑惑主的罪吗?主施给我们不少的恩惠,我们还疑惑她的应许不可靠吗?

12)我们犯不祷告的罪吗?我们还有祷告吗?为罪人祷告吗?为教会祷告吗?每天用多少时间来祷告?是否看祈祷比其他事皆重要?

13)我们忽略主的圣经否?我们每天赞几章圣经?今天所读圣经还记得住一点吗?从它里头得着益处吗?看重它是神的旨意和祝福的根源吗?.

14)我们爱人的灵魂吗?看见他人失丧,心中有无重担呢?我们有没有顾到那些将要灭亡的灵魂呢?

15)我们犯不认主的罪吗?在公众场所,在属世的人面前,我们能大胆承认基督吗?是否避讳不说福音呢?我们每天为主作见证吗?

16)我们是否轻浮妄动呢?我们言谈坐行是否合于礼貌,河诙法则,世界的人看见我们,要说我们不像基督徒吗?

17)我们曾否亏负过人没有赔偿呢?主所指示我们交还的东西虽然很小,我们归还了没有?

18)我们是否忧虑愁苦?我们能把今生的事或属灵的事信托主吗?还是我们像杞人忧天一样呢?

19)我们还有罪恶的思想吗?有否放纵思想去思念不洁不圣的事情呢?

20)我们家中还有不义不圣的东西吗?偶像除干净了吗?借人家的钱,书,用具,皆还清了吗?各房,各屉,各箱,各橱,身上,床下,所有东西,来路皆正当吗?

21)我们是否势利呢?对于贫苦与富贵的弟兄妹妹,有不同的看法与态度吗?

22)我们所言所作所想皆是单纯为主吗?在教会中事奉,喜欢被前面弟兄看见吗?所谈论的,所打算的,纯粹以主的利益,主的旨意,主的荣耀为前题吗?

23)我们每天顺服圣灵感动几次,还是时常消灭她的感动呢?

 

Evangelism, Love andThis story is told of Harry Winston, who was one of the world’s greatest jewel merchants. One day he watched one of his salesmen show a beautiful diamond to a rich Dutch merchant. The customer listened thoughtfully to the expert description, but he eventually turned away, saying, “It’s a wonderful stone, but not exactly what I want.”

            Winston stopped the customer on his way out and asked, “Do you mind if I show you that diamond once more?” The merchant agreed. Winston took the stone in his hand. He did not repeat anything the salesman had said. He simply talked about the gem as an object of deep beauty. Abruptly the customer changed his mind and bought the diamond. While he was waiting for it to be brought to him, he turned to Winston and said, :”Why did I buy it willingly from you, though I had no difficulty saying no to your salesman?”

            Winston answered, “That salesman is one of the best men in the business. He knows diamonds—but I love them.”

 

Evangelism, Motives forImagine that I have ten bags of money here, each containing a thousand dollars, and that I offer one of these bags to each of the first ten people who, by this time tomorrow, will share the gospel with a non-believer and invite him to receive Jesus Christ as Savior. The response of the non-believer would have no bearing on whether one gets the money.

            What do you think would happen? We all know that there would be a mad rush to get out of here and be one of the first ten to tell somebody about Jesus. Are we more willing to witness out of impure motives than out of love for and obedience to the Lord?

 

Evangelism, Motives forThe story is told of the captain of a Mississippi riverboat who, as his ship passed another vessel, grabbed the first passenger he saw and said, Look, look, over there on the other boat. Look at its captain. The man was somewhat bewildered and asked, Why do you want me to look at that captain? What makes him so special?

            Then the captain told him the story of how he had collided one night with another boat. His own vessel was foundering and in the process he was thrown overboard. The captain of the other vessel saw his desperate plight and maneuvered close enough that he was able to dive into the water and save his life.

            After telling the story, the once-saved captain then turned to the bystander and said, Ever since that day, I want to point out my rescuer to others. Likewise, as those who have been saved, secured, and loved by Jesus, we should want to tell others of him.

 

Fear of WitnessingTo overcome the fear we all experience when considering approaching someone with the gospel, we need to have a conviction that God has given us something to say that our audience needs desperately to hear. Such a conviction will free us from fear.

            For example, consider a person walking down a street who notices a meeting of a large group of people inside a building. Then he sees a fire in the upper part of the building where the meeting is being held. He would immediately run in and tell the people to get out. And there would be no fearful thoughts and hesitation. Why? Because he knows that they needed to hear what he had to say. How convinced are we that people need to hear a word from God?

 

Fear of WitnessingHave you ever had to paint a second or third story of a house? You get about halfway up that double or triple extension ladder and it begins to bend and bounce with your every movement. Then you start wondering about the ladder and its footing and where you will end up when it crashes to the earth so far below you. So, in fear and terror, you stop where you are and cling to the ladder, looking neither up nor down.

            Eventually you realize that you must paint the house and that you cant reach it from where you are. So, mustering up all your courage and recalling that you have never seen such a ladder fall over, you conquer the next rung and inch your way to the next, then the next. Finally you reach the top of the ladder and cling to it for your life. Now that youve arrived, you ask yourself how you can take one hand off the ladder to use the paintbrush and not plummet to the earth below. But you do. You begin. After a bit of scraping, the wood soaks up the paint. You whistle and admire the fine job you are doing. Soon the terror is forgotten.

            Youve learned an important lesson of life from this. No matter what high responsibility you take on, its scary, very scaryuntil you start working.

 

Fear of WitnessingLeRoy Eims told of an event which he and his son, Randy, witnessed in Istanbul, Turkey. They were sitting in a restaurant and looked out the window in surprise and unbelief at a huge brown bear, muzzled and on a leash. When a crowd of people had gathered, the bears owner shook a tambourine, and immediately the bear stood up on its hind legs and began to dance around. Then, on command, the bear lay on its back and rolled from side to side. As the crowd applauded in appreciation, the tambourine became a collection plate. Suddenly a small, mangy, mongrel dog came leaping out from behind the bushes and began barking at the bear. But the mighty bear, which should have been able to dispatch the dog with one swipe of its powerful paw, was both helpless and terrified and bounded around, trying dart away to find a place to hide.

   What was the problem? Why was this magnificent wild beast afraid of a scruffy little dog? There were two reasonsthe bear was both muzzled and declawed. It was a pathetic sight, but what made it even more sad was that it was a picture of so many Christians: muzzled, for they feel unable to speak, and weaponless, for they are unable to use the Sword of the Spirit. As a result, we, like that bear, often find ourselves helpless and fearful as if under siege, whenever we attempt to share our faith.

 

EvangelismHoly boldness honors the gospel. In the olden times, when Oriental despots had things pretty much their own way, they expected all ambassadors from the West to lay their mouths in the dust if permitted to appear before his Celestial brightness, the Brother of the Sun and Cousin of the Moon. Certain money-loving traders agreed to all this, and ate dust as readily as reptiles. But when England sent her ambassadors abroad, the daring islanders stood bolt-upright. They were told that they could not be indulged with a vision of the brother of the Sun and Cousin of the Moon without going to their hands and knees. “Very well,” said the Englishmen, “we will dispense with the luxury, but tell his Celestial Splendor that it is very likely that his Serenity will hear our cannon at his palace gates before long, and that their booming is not quite so harmless as the cooing of his Sublimity’s doves.” When it was seen that ambassadors of the English Crown were no cringing petitioners, the British Empire rose in respect of Oriental nations.

            It must be just so with the cross of Christ. Our cowardice has subjected the gospel to contempt. To preach the gospel boldly is to deliver it as such a message ought to be delivered.—C.H. Spurgeon

 

信徒对传福音该有怎样的态度﹖

   一、灵里火热(徒十八25;十七16)――热到一个地步,如同疯狂了一样,成了『耶稣迷』。

   二、不以福音为耻(罗一16;提后一812;可八38)――若无福音的灵,向人传福音会感觉羞耻。

   三、甘心乐意(林前九16~17;林后十二15;罗一15)

   四、下了作人的宝座(林前九19~23)――每一个人都有他作人的架子,这是传福音的一个大拦阻。

   五、费财费力(林后十二15;林前九18;太十8;罗一15)――要把自己所有的和自己都花上。

   六、不择时地(提后四2)――随时随地都能为主传福音。

   七、不怕苦难(提后一8;腓一27~28)――遭遇逼迫反对也不灰心丧胆。

   八、撇下一切(可十29)

   九、爱人(林后十二15)――关心人的灵魂,从心里爱人的灵魂。

   十、同心合意,齐心努力(腓一527)――弟兄姊妹里面对福音同有一个意念,外面对福音同有一个行动,各照所能,各尽其职。

 

福音的灵──说出福音的态度

         福音的灵,就是我们里面的灵满有传福音的负担,成了我们里面的一种能力,叫我们有一个劲头,不能不传福音,也叫我们有一种心情,非传福音不可,以至于使我们像着了迷,甚么也不顾,只顾传福音,甚么也不怕,只怕人沉沦。里面有了这福音的灵,自然就叫我们在外面对福音有了该有的态度。

   1.灵里火热

         (1)『灵里火热,将耶稣的事,详细讲论』(徒十八25原文)──热到一个地步,如同疯狂一般,成了『耶稣迷』。

         (2)『看见满城都是偶像,就心里着急』(徒十七6)──不只灵里火热,切该心里着急。

   2.不以福音为耻

         (1)『我不以福音为耻;这福音本是神的大能,要救一切相信的』(罗一16;参提后一812;可八38)──有了福音的灵,我们传起福音来,不但能脸皮厚,不感觉羞耻,反而能感觉光荣。

   3.甘心乐意

         (1)『传福音;我若甘心作这事,就有赏赐』;『我也甘心乐意为你们的灵魂情愿将福音传给你们』(林前九16~17;林后十二15;罗一15)

   4.下了作人的宝坐

         (1)『我虽是自由的,无人辖管,然而我甘心作了众人的仆人,为要多得人向软弱的人,我就作软弱的人,为要得软弱的人;向甚么样的人,我就作甚么样的人;无论如何,总要救些人。凡我所行的,都是为福音的缘故,为要与人同得福音的好处』(林前九19~23)──每一个人都有他作人的宝座,就是他作人的架子,这在信徒身上,乃是福音传出去的一个大拦阻。

   5.费财费力

         (1)『我甘心乐意为你们的灵魂费财费力』;『我的赏赐是甚么呢?就是我传福音的时候,叫人不花钱得福音』;『尽我的力量将福音传给你们』(林后十二15;林前九18;参太十8;罗一15)──『费财费力』,原文的意思是『把自己所有的和自己都花上』。

   6.不择时地

         (1)『务要传道;无论得时不得时,总要专心』(提后四2)──慕迪深夜向巡警传福音。

   7.不怕苦难

         (1)『总要按神的能力,为福音受苦难』;『为所信的福音努力;凡事不怕敌人的惊吓』(提后一8;腓一27~28)

   8.撇下一切

         (1)『人为我()和福音,撇下房屋,或是弟兄,姊妹,父母,儿女,田地』(可十29)

 

传福音的生命

   1.与福音相称的生活

         (1)『行事为人与基督的福音相称』(腓一27)──传福音的灵是重在能力,传福音的生命重在生活。

   2.住在主里面

         (1)『住在我里面的,我也住在他里面,这人就多结果子』(约十五5)

   3.修理干净

         (1)『凡结果子的,祂就修理干净,使枝子结果子更多』(约十五2)──这不光是指着要除净一切的污秽,更是指着要去掉一切不该有的东西。故要在里面接受主的光照,也在外面接受主的对付。

 

传福音的权柄

   1.基督的权柄

         (1)『天上地下所有的权柄,都赐给我了。所以你们要去…(太廿八18~19)──我们该凭信心运用主的权柄,对付赶逐一切敌挡福音,霸占人,叫人不接受福音的鬼魔,以及在传福音的行程和工场上所遇到的搅扰反对。(交通警察站在路口把一指,汽车就得停下,这是权柄,不是能力)

 

传福音的能力

   1.圣灵的浇灌
